Aim: The purpose of this paper was the study of relationship between mental toughness and psychological well-being among students with intermediate role of physical activities. Method: The method of this research was descriptive-correlation. Statistical society included all of students of Shahid Chamran university of Ahvaz that were studying in 1394 (N=14800). Among this society, 201 participants that were at available selected randomly (age mean: 23/05 ± 3/37). Participants completed psychological well-being, mental toughness and international physical activity questionnaires. Used statistical tests were correlation coefficient, goodness indices and bootstrap. Data analyzing conducted with SPSS 17 and AMOS 18 software and significant level considered 0/05 for whole the analyzing. Findings: The results of this research indicated physical activity mediate the relationship between mental toughness and psychological well-being. Correlation coefficients showed significant relations there were between majority of subscales mental toughness and psychological well-being except relations between self-acceptance and emotion control and interpersonal confidence, positive relation with others and interpersonal confidence, environmental mastery and interpersonal confidence. The strongest relations found between abilities confidence with self-acceptance, life control with self-determination, commitment with self-determination and with environmental mastery. Conclusion: Encouragement of students to perform sport and physical activities in young and maturity period induce the increase in mental health and psychological well-being.
