Abstract Purpose: Sports Vision training is a set of techniques for developing visual function. the present study aims to investigate the effect of sports vision trainings on eye movements of children with ADHD.Methods: In this semi-experimental study, 27 male students (Meanage = 8.55 ± 1.08 years old) with ADHD were randomly selected and they were divided into experimental and control groups after filling out the Conners questionnaire and clinical psychiatric interviews. At first, the horizontal and vertical saccades and Near-Far-Near (NFN) tests were performed as pre-test by means of HART CHART of the subjects. Afterwards, the experimental group performed the sports vision trainings during 12 sessions (three sessions a week a for about 30 minutes), but control group didn’t perform any intervention. At the end, the subjects were post-test.Results: The results mixed ANOVA showed that the experimental group's the horizontal and vertical saccades and NFN improved with sports vision trainings in all three variables (P≤0.0005). independent t-test showed a significant difference between the two groups in the horizontal and vertical saccades and NFN tests. Conclusion: sports vision trainings significantly improves eye movements in children with ADHD.
