تأثیر ورزش یوگا بر عملکرد شناختی زنان میانسال با نقص شناختی خفیف

چکیده

هدف پژوهش: هدف این پژوهش بررسی تأثیر 10 هفته ورزش یوگا بر عملکرد شناختی زنان میانسال با نقص شناختی خفیف بود. روش پژوهش:  شرکت‌کنندگان 41 زن میانسال بودند که با توجه به ارزیابی شناختی مونترال به دو گروه تجربی و کنترل تقسیم شدند. گروه تجربی ورزش یوگا را به مدت 10 هفته و هفته‌ای سه جلسه انجام دادند که مدت هر جلسه تمرینی 60 دقیقه بود. داده‌های پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون به دست ‌آمده از طریق ارزیابی شناختی مونترال با استفاده از آزمون t همبسته و مقایسه پس‌آزمون دو گروه با استفاده از t مستقل و تحلیل کواریانس تجزیه و تحلیل شد. یافته ها: یافته‌ها نشان داد گروه تجربی افزایش معنا‌داری در عملکرد شناختی، مهارت‌های ‌بینایی ‌فضایی، عملکردهای اجرایی، تمرکز، حافظه کاری از پیش‌آزمون به پس‌آزمون داشتند (05/0≥P). گروه تجربی نسبت به گروه کنترل، افزایش معناداری در عملکرد شناختی و زبان داشت(05/0≥P). بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این تحقیق نشان داد میانسالان با نقص شناختی خفیف می‌توانند با  شرکت در ورزش یوگا، عملکرد شناختی خود را بهبود بخشند.

Purpose: A mild cognitive impairment is thought to be a condition of premature but abnormal cognitive impairment. This study aimed to investigate the effect of yoga exercise on the cognitive function of Middle-aged women with mild cognitive impairment. Methods: The present study was semi-experimental using a pre-test post-test design with two experimental and control groups. The participants were 41 middle-aged women who were divided into experimental and control groups according to the score of Montreal's cognitive assessment.  The experimental group performed yoga exercises for 10 weeks (three sessions per week), each training session was 60 minutes. The pre-post test data obtained through the Montreal cognitive assessment were analyzed using the covariance analysis test. Results: The findings showed that the experimental group had a significant increase in executive function, concentration, work memory, and total cognitive function from pre-test to post-test (P≤0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that middle-aged women with mild cognitive impairment can improve cognitive performance by participating in yoga exercises.
