Aim: The present study was designed and conducted to investigate the role of psychological, cultural and social capital on the performance of elite athletes. Method: This research is applied research in terms of purpose, field implementation method in terms of descriptive-correlational analysis. The statistical population of this study included athletes from Iran who did not have comprehensive information about their number. According to the available selection according to the Cochran volume formula in the conditions of uncertainty of the community, 384 people were identified as the research sample. After distributing and collecting research questionnaires, 361 questionnaires were analyzed. Results: According to the results of the study, it was found that psychological capital has a significant effect on the performance of elite athletes (effect=0.468, P=0.001). The results showed that cultural capital (impact=0.198, P =0.001) and social capital have a significant effect on the performance of elite athletes (impact=0.289, P=0.001). Conclusion: Therefore, it is suggested that sports teams and clubs create a positive trend in the formation and promotion of athletes' psychological, cultural and social capital by holding training courses.
